Wow! below is from sooo long ago!! That must have been from about 7 years ago. The boys are now 9 going on 10.
They certainly don't have to go to Dallas that often, nor do they wear 2T or 3T! It is more like size 12 for Matthew
and size 8 for Mark. They only go to the metroplex to go shopping for toys, books, games for the Wii, and "cool" clothes.

October -
This month we traveled to Dallas 8 times for the boys therapy (PT, OT, and Speech). Mark went to see
his ENT in Dallas for 2 follow-up appts (after last month's surgery). He reported everything has healed quite well and doesn't
wish to see Mark for 3-6 months. Matthew went to see his eye doctor in Plano. He has prescribed "eye patch therapy" in which
we alternate the patch daily, for longer periods of time over his stronger eye, so Matthew's eye muscles can gain strength.
The doctor will see him again the last week of November to discuss eyeglasses and see the results of the therapy. The boys
received their synergis shot and weighed in at: Matthew 26 lbs, 6 oz. and Mark 25 lbs, 6 oz. We have enjoyed this nice weather
because we can go for a stroll in the afternoons. The boys only leave the house otherwise to go to therapy or doctor appts,
or the occasional "stay in the car" errands around town with Mommy and Daddy.
Mark is crawling around the house, literally
climbing up the walls, and is pulling up on furniture to stand. He is accepting small amounts of baby food in his mouth, but
refuses to swallow! We're working on teaching him how to clap, blow kisses, and wave goodbye. He is very verbal with his speaking
valve, but is not speaking English yet! He is off of his oxygen and monitor during the day, but still requiring a small amount
of oxygen at night.
Matthew is rolling over onto his tummy, bringing his arms out front, and moving forward on his
belly. He doesn't go far, but is making definite progress! He is still working on learning how to sit with support. He mutters
consonant sounds, sometimes they even sound like words. He is eating very well, Gerber 2nd foods, and trying some table foods.
Because of his teething, he likes to munch on cereal, cookies, and cheetos. He still won't touch juices or the sippy cup.
His wheelchair and standing frame should be here anyday.
We'll post pictures soon of Halloween and recent photos of
the big boys - they are wearing 2T and 3T now!!
